All sorts of non ridden horsey fun - no experience required
Thursday & Friday 5.30pm - 7pm (subject to numbers)
£7 per session. Must be booked and paid for in advance.
February Half Term Pony Club Activities 2018
Wednesday 20th Beginner / Novice Pony Day. Riding and pony care, this is aimed at those with little or no riding or handling experience.
10.30am – 1.30pm £20 Pony Club Members, £25 non-members
Thursday 21st Badge Club Special - Members Only
Riding, 2 stable management sessions and supervised practise followed by badge club. This is for members working towards their D+ and C Test exams (approx. 10 years +). 2pm – 7pm £26 (including badge club). Badge club will still run as normal for members who only want to do the evening 5.30pm – 7pm
Friday 22nd Own a Pony Day
Own your own horse of pony for the day to care for and ride (you get to ride twice!). Book a steed of your choice (subject to instructor approval) and we will provide all the help, support and supervision required for the day. 8am – 5pm £45 PC members £50 non-members (please note it is first come first serve for horse choice so book early to avoid disappointment.
Road Rider Badge @ Badge Club
We are running training for the Road rider badges (mini and large) from 28th Feb at badge club for 6 weeks. See Across for syllabus.
Thursday 28th Feb, 7th March, 14th March will be training for the Mini Badge this will be examined on 21st March. Weeks 1 and 2 are normal £7 per session, weeks 3 and 4 will be mounted and cost £10 per session.
Thursday 28th March and 4th April will be to top up to the large badge which will be examined on the 4th April weeks 5 and 6 will also be mounted = £10 per session. There will be the opportunity to resit at the start of the Easter holidays (date TBC likely 11th April) for those who need another go. Please ask for more information, I appreciate this can be confusing!
***PLEASE NOTE UNLIKE OTHER BADGES EVERYONE HAS TO COMPLETE THEIR MINI BADGE BEFORE THE BOG BADGE REGARDLESS OF AGE, ALSO A MINIMUM NUMBER OF HOURS TRAINING HAVE TO BE LOGGED FOR THE LARGE MADGE SO THOSE WHO HOLD THE MINI WILL HAVE TO ATTEND WEEKS 1 – 3 OF TRAINING THEN 5 AND 6, THEY MAY ATTEND WEEK 4 AND USE IT AS A MOCK EXAM IF THEY WISH***
BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY ASSESSMENT TRAINING
Stage One – 4 week Course
Theory and practical training for the stage one assessment. Every Wednesday from 6th February 6pm to 8pm Introductory price £120 Aimed at those with some horse experience who wish to improve their knowledge and are aiming for the BHS Stage 1 Exam
Stage Two – 6 week course
Theory and practical training for the stage 2 assessment. Every Wednesday from 6th March 6pm – 8pm Introductory price £180
Aimed at those who already hold the BHS Stage 1 Certificate.
All theory will take place in our centrally heated training room, and practical will be on the yard. Please bring hat, gloves and appropriate study footwear. Booking in advance is compulsory and payment is required at the time of booking, bookings are non refundable, however in the event of minimum number not being met, all monies will be refunded.

Camp 31 July - 2nd August
Residential & Day Camp for those who do not wish to camp out. Beginners Day Camp for those with little or no experience. Residential £235 PC members only, Non resi £175 non members, £135 members (8-5 each day) Deposit of £50 to secure the space will be taken from wed 18/04/18, clsing date for booking is 31/5/18 or when full. Payment in full by 1/7/18. Open to Clients as well as those who have not been to us before. Payment in full required at the time of booking. Bookings can be made till 28/7/2017 subject to avilability.
All activities must be booked and paid for in advance to secure a space, this enables us to organise the day and arrange supervision
BOOKING POLICY applies for all activities due to the booking of extra staff the allocation / workload of horses and the re-arranging of pre-existing clients which is all done in advance.
